Liz Looker is a multi award winning photographer. She has worked in North and South America, Europe and Australia, and her photographs are in private collections around the world.
In 2016, she won Australia's most prestigious photographic award, the National Photographic Portrait Prize and it has just been announced that she has won the Art Handlers’ Award at the National Photographic Portrait Prize in 2019. In 2017 she was awarded Best Photography of the Year by the PADC for Commercial Advertising. She was a prize winner in the 2011 Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize and has been recognised nationally as a finalist in the Head On Portrait Prize and the Olive Cotton Award and internationally in The IPA Family of Man and The Moscow and Tokyo International Awards.
Liz works well collaboratively with her clients, understanding their language and vision, creating strong and memorable images for individuals and corporate brands.
"I am a quiet observer. My subjects have lived for a few days, for a hundred years, they are men and women, children, strangers, friends of friends, anyone who will sit with me and trust me enough to show themselves."
